I didn’t want to think about what this week will commemorate ad nauseam.

The day seems so much more personal than it is ever portrayed in the media. None the less I located some personal papers from that time frame and decided to post them as it.

Aside

writing about knitting, red lipstick, vintage cocktails and photo editing to all hell, libraries, Mad Men, Anthropologie, celebrities related to knitting, running in lipstick

Aside

A long time ago I stumbled across Lotta Jonsdotter’s blog, I think in the context of an art show. I was in love! Then she kind of kept popping up randomly.

I keep eyeing her sewing pattern book, but since my sewing has been so non-existent I have resisted.

Yesterday though, I splurged on her Handmade Living book. Sigh, I am in love again. Today I feel the impulse to go by the sewing book and set up my own textile studio.

I love her quirky twist to Swedish design and just the general cuteness.

Now if I could just find her fabric.

That is this week.

Other things on the docket:

  • finally clearing off the studio storage and took a run to the dump.
  • Still need to file about 8 boxes of stuff now (or pitch)
  • We are single parenting this weekend and subsequently not cooking and or eating anything that is remotely healthy.
  • Obsessed again too with Marimekko and have her as desktop paper.
  • Feel like I have chronic fatigue, no matter how much I sleep.
  • Getting the itch to knit and sew again.
  • It is dark out now at times it was not a few weeks again, and fall is upon us.
